Why is Deanna now hosting this show? I thought Lifetime was a credible source for strong, honest women. She's anything but that. I've turned to you for years and now I'm very disappointed.

I am a 31 year old woman and I spent 11 years and 2 beautiful children being married to a man I never believed loved me.We got married young to what I believe is due to the fact that I was pregnant. Well after so long of being ignored and feeling like I was in his way,I decided to end my misery. Not to long after that I met what I am sure to be the man I was ment for. As to where now my ex husband does not really have anything to do with our children or pay child support for that matter.Steve the man I feel rescued my heart and made me believe in love takes care of all of us. He does not complain about anything except when he is not sure if my kids are happy. I am so blessed to have a man who not only loves and takes care of his children, he loves and takes care of my children to.

September in the Bahamas - I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. All couples struggle with the finances of a wedding and in your case, this is especially hard. If you are comfortable asking for help, there is a good chance it’s out there. Many weddings are often a group effort - paid for by both families and the couple as well. If you and your fiancé have any funds to contribute, this might help start a conversation to ask his family for their help. However, because your event is a destination one, the cost for guests to attend is substantial, so if you can minimize the event and spend the money that you have available to you already, the real joy will come from those around you who were able to attend. Destination weddings also don’t require the décor and added expenses that some weddings do because the backdrop and natural surroundings are the focal point of the day. Keep all your vendors local and source alternative décor and favors that are from local artisans to save what you can and support the local commerce. If you need help finding resources, call your venue and ask for recommendations or call the local resorts in the area and see what they suggest. In the end your event will be wonderful because of the little personal touches that don’t cost much or anything at all – like honoring your mom.

my story starts 19 yrs ago , i was 16 and a single mother. i met a guy named greg who was 17, we fell in love we together for about 2 months until his mother showed up on my doorstep mad because her 14 yr old son had been skipping school to be with me at this i broke up with him and moved away. to find out i was pregenent, not wanting to ruin his life i didnt tell him i gave our son up for adopation to a family friend. i got married to what i thought was a good guy , i was young and thought he would love me , he was very abusive and i was so young that i thought i couldnt get away i was married to him for 14 long yrs but i did have 3 very beautiful children . finally i got out of this bad marriage , he turned my children against me. they have now started to relize im not the bad person the dad made them think i was.anyway i got a divorce and started to start my life over again.never forgetting my first love greg, set out to find him , i asked everyone who new no one ever knew where he was, so i put a ad in the local newspaper, two weeks later he contacted me, we set a time to meet and fell in love again... we have been together for 4 yrs now and plan to married someday when we can afford it which seems like never. we did get to meet our son this past new years eve, which was great were finally at a place were our children all approve and would be a part of a wedding . now we just have to do it i guess.

And ladies, our fella's just don't get into the girly movies but so much. So, when they are playing golf, working, or fishing with their friends, lets induldge with some wonderful chocolate our favorite drink, and get comfy, and thank goodness for LifeTime Love Movies!! ****** Hugs

You do not need to get a new dress! A Cinderella dress is perfectly appropriate any time of year! Your dress should reflect you and your style, not the trend of the moment. However, if you want to incorporate your chocolate and copper colors into a spring-appropriate palette, consider using bright colors that pop and make more of a statement than your accents - like bright orange or depending on the shade of copper, even a bright pink of fuchsia. If these are too bold for you, perhaps incorporate orchids into your florals, they complement browns well but the green and white tones in them liven up a darker reception. Or consider a baby blue even. Ribbon accents on the napkin treatments over a copper or brown charger would look lovely. You can tie the colors into the bridesmaid dresses by adding a sash, a wrap, or even with bouquets or bouquet accents. And if you don’t find a perfect spring fit, then go with your gut. Weddings reflect the couple, not necessarily the season. Almost anything goes in today’s bridal market, from a green gown to fish in a centerpiece, so just remember to select what you will love and cherish, not what you think others will; and you can’t go wrong.

I was scheduled to have a winter wedding this Feb., well due to some unforeseen circumstances and the worst winter in years the wedding did not happen. Now we are back on for May this year(yea) however the problem we are running into is with the wedding colors. I have my girls in copper and chocolate colors and I have a cinderella ball gown and all of these are paid for. My question is what colors can go with this chocolate and copper to make it a springy wedding and should I get rid of my ball gown for a slinkier dress? HELP!!!!
